HOME REMEDIES FOR NORMAL SKIN

Normal skin has an even tone with no visible pores and is blemish free, smooth and soft. Normal skin is extremely healthy, and requires no unique care unlike dry skin and oily skin. Normal skin usually responds well to mild cleansing and light, non-greasy moisturizers.

Normal skin neither looks dry nor shiny however it is mostly affected by pimples and acne. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of normal skin by cleansing and nourishing it. Normal skin is beautiful, but it needs care as neglect can lead to signs of aging and wrinkling.

To keep your normal skin blemish free and well-hydrated, you need to do just s little bit of more work. Meanwhile, drink lots of water. Eat a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables and do exercise regularly. Always apply sunscreen whenever the skin is exposed to sun as this is the best approach to prevent premature ageing!

Essential oil for normal skin:

There is large variety of essential oils ti chose from for normal skin remedies. A blend of geranium, lavender and jasmine, mixed in to a base oil of sweet almond is nutritious, easy to mix combo that is gentle, yet strengthening for normal skin, for its similar composition to sebum, regulating oil level for normal skin, and balancing hydration, Jojoba oil is termed as excellent base oil. Vitamins A, B, C, D and E are beneficial to protect and nourish normal skin and carrot oil consists of all these vitamins. Sunflower oil, rich in A, B, D and E vitamins, is also good for normal skin.

Home remedies Face packs applied on normal skin:


Face packs prepared by using fresh and variety of vegetables and fruit such as banana, avocado, grape, cantaloupe, nectarine and peach are vary useful to make skin soft and smooth. Face packs are used for cleaning skin and maintaining the skin tautness, they are also helpful in removing impurities, dead skin cells and wastes from the skin. And making such effective face packs at home is quite easy. This is the best method for normal skin.

Make thick paste of a small amount of grape fruit juice and 4-5 full tablespoons of oatmeal. Apply layer of this paste on the skin and leave it for 15 minutes and then wash off with clean water.

Mix honey with mashed up ripe banana for making pulp. Apply this pack over the face and leave it for 20 minutes and then remove it with Luke warm water.

Prepare a paste taking one egg yolk, half apple, sliced and peeled, a tablespoon of honey, and two tablespoons of oil, vinegar and one full tablespoon of ascorbic acid. Apply this pack on the neck and face and let it dry for 15 minutes and then wash off with clean water.

Sprinkle few drops of lemon juice on 2-3 lettuce leaves dipped in olive oil. Now place the leaves on both sides of the face. Cover the leaves with towel dipped in mineral water and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Then wipe the face by using cotton ball dampened with warm milk and wash it.

Mix a teaspoon of orange juice and a full teaspoon of fresh milk cream and apply the mixture on face. Leave it for about 15-20 minutes and wash off the face with clear water. This pack makes the skin smooth and soft.

Make a paste of 2 table spoon of household starch and a full tablespoon of fresh milk. Apply the layer of paste over the face and leave for 20 minutes. This face pack is effective for getting firm and smooth skin.

Mix one full teaspoon of lemon juice and 2 teaspoons of tomato juice and apply it on the face. Wash the face after 15 minutes. This makes the skin smooth.

Mix few drops of lemon juice with grated fresh potato juice. Apply this mixture using cotton wool. Let it dry for 5 minutes and wash off. This pack is effective in removing dark spots and blemishes.

Some More Home Remedies:

Mix up a fine paste of one teaspoon of walnut powder, lemon juice and honey. Scrub your body with the paste, leave for 20 minutes and rinse with cold water.


Try a paste of turmeric powder and orange juice. Scrub it on body areas that are exposed to sun or cold weather, leave for 20 minutes and rinse with cold water.

Mash up a banana with milk and apply it directly to the skin. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with cold water.

Apply honey and tomato juice as a mixture on the face and neck, wash it after 15 minutes.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and flush your body of toxins and wastes.


Boil cabbage in water and then let the water cool overnight. In the early morning, wash your face with the water.

Take an equal amount of vinegar and rose water and apply to skin, his is good for normal skin.

Make a paste of curd and cucumber juice and apply it as face mask for 15 to 20 minutes, once a week.

Make sure to relax as bad stress can trigger many skin problems. You ca get relief from the stress by playing soft music or by practicing meditation, pranayama and such holistic exercises
